​COMPETITION TEAMS....

Our competition teams are selected by auditions that are held at the end of the summer break.  This year's auditions will be on Saturday, July 29.  (We will have one make-up day in August for those with scheduling conflicts due to prior commitment conflicts.  Contact the studio to schedule.)

Competition students are expected to attend classes two nights per week, with additional practices throughout the season.  This is in addition to any other dance classes taken.

Competition students must pay additional fees throughout the year for things such as competition fees, uniforms, costumes, and travel expenses.  Fundraisers will be done throughout the year to help offset some of these expenses, but parents must understand the additional financial requirements of being on a competition dance team.

Teams will compete in a minimum of three competitions each dance year.  Groups, trios, duets, and solos are allowed, at the discretion of instructor and studio director.  Teams are also expected to attend at least one convention per dance year.
